Helen Alexis Yonov
(Executive Producer/Director/Writer)
Although most of her childhood was spent in Newport, Rhode Island, Alexis Yonov was also raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Moscow, Russia. After graduating from Emerson College in Boston, Alexis moved to Los Angeles and began working as a Set Production Assistant. Over the next three years, she worked on Seabiscuit, Garfield, Along Came Polly, Anchorman, War of the Worlds, Little Black Book, Taxi, Elizabethtown, RENT, Pirates of the Caribbean II & III, Just Like Heaven, Waist Deep and Nobel Son.
In 2008, Alexis wrote and directed the award-winning film, The Weight of It, which premiered at the Rhode Island International Film Festival and won the Festival Choice Award at the Paso Robles Digital Film Festival.
Upon completion of her film, Alexis co-founded Mercury Retrograde Productions, and is currently producing and developing several projects. She is writing a segment for Fellers’ feature, You Know You Want To, as well as developing a television series Man In The Middle, with Fellers. Alexis is also writing and directing the PSA: Women Supporting Women Behind the Camera and is creating several feature films, including The History of Things To Come and SERGEI, a documentary about her father, Captain Sergei Alexis Yonov. |

Andrea Fellers (Producer)
Andrea Fellers is an accomplished multi-media artist, filmmaker and actress. A graduate of the American Academy Of Dramatic Arts, Andrea’s acting and modeling credits include Feature Films, (“The Ballad of PonyBoy,” “Hell Ride”) Television, Commercials, Theatre, Print & Runway. Andrea began writing, directing and producing in 2003 when she wrote, directed, produced and performed in “You Too Have Walked In My Shoes,” the experimental film likened to the work of Maya Deren. Andrea then went on to direct music videos for internationally acclaimed musicians Armen Chik, Shahrzad Sepanlou and grunge-rock artist Leland Karlton.
Her narrative films “Death” and “Twilight Memories,” as well as her latest experimental film “Dream”, (starring Earl Greyhounds’ Kamara Thomas,) premiered to critical acclaim in Los Angeles. Andrea has also produced numerous projects for NBC, as well as the award-winning film “The Weight of It,” directed by Helen Alexis Yonov.
Andrea is currently developing and producing several projects including the PSA: Women Supporting Women Behind the Camera and the television series Man In The Middle. Andrea is also co-directing the feature film, “You Know You Want To,” which begins shooting in 2009. In addition, Andrea is a renowned painter, repped by the Seyhoun Gallery in Beverly Hills. Her art exhibits throughout the United States and sells worldwide. |

Cira Felina Bolla (Director of Photography)
Cira Felina Bolla was nominated for a 2006 Emmy forBest Photography/Cinematography in a Documentary Category for her work on Episode 5: “Stories of the Sharpe Experience.” Fluent in four languages, Bolla has shot in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America. She received her undergraduate degree in Film at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. In 2005, Bolla's passion for the camera resulted in a prestigious appointment with the Women in Film Cinematography Fellowship. She then trained under the distinguished veteran Director of Photography, Roy Wagner, A.S.C., in various aspects of cinematography, while on the Emmy-winning set of the television series, “House MD.” (Wagner had been a former student of Ansel Adams.) Most recently, Bolla has been on the cover of the prominent industry magazines, “P3 Production Update Magazine vol. DEC 2006” and “StudentFilmmakers.com Magazine vol. AUG 2007,” which featured an article on her Emmy Nomination. She has spoken as an invited panelist at the Ojai Film Festival 2005 and is the WIF (Women in Film) selected Cinematographer for a print ad campaign set to run in industry publications 2007. |

Pierpaolo Tiano (Composer)
Pierpaolo Tiano was born in Montreal, Canada and was raised in Milan, Italy. He began studying piano at the age of six. At eighteen, Pierpaolo enrolled at UCLA and earned a degree in Music and Theatre. His
postgraduate work included studies in Composing &
Arranging and Jazz Piano at the Grove School of Music.
While at Grove, Pier apprenticed Barend Ross, with
whom he collaborated on numerous cartoons for Walt
Disney. Pierpaolo went on to score the soundtracks to
film, including “Love & Sex,” directed by Valerie
Breimann, and starring Famke Janssen and Jon Favreau;
“Cock and Bull Story,” directed by Billy Hayes; and
“Miner’s Massacre” aka “Curse of the Forty-Niner,”
directed by John Carl Beuchler of the “Friday the
13th” series. He subsequently composed music for the
NBC series “Providence” while also collaborating on
various studio projects with multi-Academy Award and
Grammy winning composer Giorgio Moroder. Pierpaolo
also composed music for “Wonderfalls,” an original FOX
Television series, created by Bryan Fuller (“Heroes,”)
Todd Holland (Creator of “Malcolm in the Middle,”) and
Tim Minear (writer and director for “Firefly” and
“Angel,”) as well as being featured in the Walt Disney
film “Princess Diaries II – Royal Engagement” with his
song “Jump.” Recently Pierpaolo worked on “The Time
Tunnel,” a FOX pilot, released with the DVD release of
the original 1960’s series, “The Time Tunnel;” “The
Amazing Screw-On Head,” a new animated series for
SciFi Channel, created by Mike Mignola (“Hell Boy,”)
starring the voices of Paul Giamatti, David Hyde
Pierce and Molly Shannon; and the latest installment
of the critically acclaimed video game for Sony
Playstation, “Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters.”
Pierpaolo’s TV commercial work includes spots for Land
Rover, Gatorade, UPS, Audi, BMW, Rocher, Yamaha,
Mercedes, General Motors, Hyundai, Amazon.com and Fox
